I have this stream in my woods and its never been very deep honestly, I'd say at most maybe 2 feet deep in some places. I have a little raptor 90cc that ive had for like 7 years. It goes a little under 40 mph and since its so small everything it hits sends you flyin, its pretty sweet to joyride on when ur ripped. Most of my life ive been takin it thru the trails around my house. However i havent really ridden them in almost a year so they are all overgrown and stuff. I guess there was some serious rain the last few weeks that i just didnt pay attention to, cause the stream was a lot deeper than i remember, and due to the overgrowth i had very little room to maneuver around the deep spots on land. Me and my buddy smoked a few bowls and i told him to wait upstream with a machette as i went down stream to make sure there were still trails we could go on. So i get about half way down the stream and I'm high as hell. I come to a narrow part of the beach, to my right is mad thorns n shit, on my left is the deepest part of the stream that was never there before... I honestly thought it was like 2 feet deep but there was no gradual incline into the water, it was just a straight up hole in the ground, and turned out to be around 5 feet deep. So im bein real careful when somethin stings me. I bugged out and lost balance and the quad gunned forward and flipped over the bank and landed upsideown wit me on it in the pool thing. I was so high and all i could think about was like Anaconda and i just bounced out of the water so fast haha. Then i realized i was in deep shit cause my quad was now in the middle of the pool, upsideown, and had sunk to the bottom where all the main parts were now filling with water. My phone also got fried. I yelled for my buddy, he came down stream, we analyzed the situation and bitched for like 15 minutes about how fucked up it was. He's like 6'8'' 250 pounds so he finally just turns around and rips two dying trees out of the ground and we made like tweezers with them and somehow got them into the grill on the quad and lifted it out of the water. It took like a half hour and we were exhausted. We flipped the quad upright and wheeled it to safety but it didnt start at all and is def. broken. Were now halfway down a deep ass stream with all the paths overgrown and all we have is: a machette, weed, a new bowl, and a lighter haha. So we fuckin trooped downstream a little bit and ended up near an old trail i recognized. We took turns hacking away all the brush with teh machette, then found a hunter's tree stand. We took a break, packed another bowl, blazed and decided to name the new bowl "Tom Sawyer" because of our crazy adventure haha. Then we did a 180 and started heading back up stream via the new path. Here we basically chopped down everything in sight until we reached the beginning of the stream where we started. Right as we were getting close to the exit, this weird noise started comin from a shrub and it kept getting closer to us as we were chopping. I figured it was a bird or somethin whos nest we got too close too, but it was still scary as hell and we just booked through the remaining thorns and jumped off the bank into the stream haha. Then we both just left the woods vowing to return another day to reclaim the quad that we left somewhere downstream.
