Hey guys and gals

Iā??m currently growing outdoors and in the ideal world my plants would be flowering soon but considering the needed dark period I doubt they will be doing so until its too late to harvest anything from them.

Due to my work schedule I canā??t induce 12/12 perfectly.
I have a very fine mesh fence that blocks out about 80% of the light, I was considering trying to give the plants a lower light cycle, but Iā??m pretty afraid that it would be kind of erratic, ie hermies, and such.

Anyway my question is, does anyone think this would be a good idea, I donā??t myself, but Iā??m hoping someone will have some experience with flowering with a little more then 12/12. I know the plants need a certain period of darkness, and light, but what is considered pushing the envelope to the point where you are risking the plants health. This is not a harvest for max yields situation, just a final grow before things go indoors. also, before i forget, the plants are in the very first stages of preflower i think, less then a few days into it max, that or im just too excited.

Thanks for any help

And Dutch, I know you are out there somewhere, do you have AIM man?
