Why do you get high?

been smoking every day for about two years now, medical malfunctions.

I smoke bud cuz i love to smoke it. the feeling i like the best is the feeling i get in my head behind my eyes.

also it just calms me down to smoke a little bit. im not addicted to pot, and i can prove it, but i need it to focus.

whenever im sober, even b4 i smoked pot, my mind races and i cant concentrate on shit. but then i smoke a bowl, or even just a few hits, and i can do my schoolwork.

i also love the creativity and enlightenment pot brings. when i get stoned, i can play my guitar beautifully, i relax enough to do long and fast solos (not full metallica speed yet, but im getting there). and i can understand that which sober people cannot fathom. i can think deep and actually remember what i thought.

(on a side note; i think that cannabis is very important to music. it lets you clearly hear every slight sound completely. and when stoned, i have a better sense of music and the harmonic scales.)

bud is also great for relationships... nothin i love more than laying in bed with my girlfreind, smokin a bowl, passing hits through kisses. and it makes you feel everything better, so sex is awesome.

Originaly (like mose people) i smoked for the wrong reasonas, because it looked cool. These days though i do it for the right reasons. I smoke dope (or take whichever drug) for one main reason, so i can get a much better insight into live, its amasing the ideas 2 stoned people can come up with. Its also a plus that it makes life feel less shit.

Obviously because it is better than being sober. But that isn't enough.

I get high because I like the way it feels. For instance, I like how after my first hit of the day, when I exhale I INSTANTLY feel more relaxed, and my mind start to race. I think about shit. I get high because 90% of my friends get high. I get high because it makes me sleep REALLY good. I get high because listening to music is awesome. It takes your mind off of things, which is very, very good.

I get high becuase I am probably mentally addicted.

i smoke because i love the feeling and the deep converstatoins we have high...and plus theres nothing else to do were my university is so we just get together in res and blaze....but then when i do go home thats all i do anyways....so i guess i just do it because of how good it makes me feel

I like being high after a stressful day. Plus getting home from work at 11:00 at night on a school night provides me with a joint and then relaxation before bed. Yes this could be wasting my high but it just feels good sometimes and I don't really do it that much.
I do it because my roomate is fucking annoyingly talking on the phone with her "outside voice" and she wakes up at the crackass of dawn.
Mostly I do it because I associate weed with my boyfriend because he is the one I smoke the most with and I love him to bits!!

I like weed and mentally addicted when I get that craving but guys....I still haven't got a hook up THAT IS 3 weeks....oh well when I do get HIGH I will be blazed!

i get high because it eases the stress. I am in pain sometimes both mentally and psychically... nothing takes the edge off than weed. It's like weed is a painkiller, but i still think. It makes me more creative. It makes everything funny. My friends get high, what's better than getting high with your friends. It helps me discover myself.

never had a sitter on dxm, frequently do high doses 700-1400mgs., and i love how it slows me down, the robo-walk is awesome., i wouldnt say it puts you in a 3-9 year old state of mind id say it makes you view the world without predjudice eyes.

and as for marijuana, i give it 2 thumbs up.
