Yea Americans have a totally different sense of humour from British just like us aussies.Alot of american humour say seinfeld is just stupid shit to me not funny at all fucking crap that shouldnt even be put on tv here. But theres some funny shit there too i like the black guys like chris tucker n chris rock they make me laugh.I love british humour like ab fab is my absolute best i love them so funny.

trainspotting, human traffic, withnail and I, the wicker man, 28 days later, lock stock and two smoking barrels, snatch, the krays, get carter, most of micheal caines earlier stuff and various others are what id call classic british films, anything with hugh fucking grant or colin bloody firth is what id call crap british films, heck james bond used be good before it got americanised (invisible cars anyone?). Indeed the british and american sense's of irony are very different, as well as classifications (a UK 15 is a US 18) and artistic freedom, so there is rarely any (non hollywood) crossover appeal.
anyway im stoned and hungry, later,,,,,,,,.........,vbngvbhj

British humour is totally different, like somebody already said. I mean, when Red Dward was big over here, they tried to make an American version to show in America, and it sucked and got cancelled, whereas the British version had like a million seasons and is still funny as hell.
Recommended watching for any Americans:
Red Dwarf
Monty Python
and most importantly, Blackadder!
