A new way to co2!!!... Maybe?
delivery system = regulator, or grower standing there BOG style with a hand release type deal (inefficient).
Perfect your other systems first. Then think about CO2. It's not a magic bullet that will make your grow yield huge. IT will improve your yields IF you have everything else dialed in correctly. Plus you will have to re-think your ventilation when you add CO2.
Whatever.

A new way to co2!!!... Maybe?
Just to keep it simple I wanna say to ganjaking that your probably right , you probably do know more about this shit than I do , but don't try to tell me I can't make one home made when you have no clue what Im capable of. I can make anything, which I know more about because I am maguyver , it would also help if you just answered my question instead of giving me attiude like ( period) and shit like that Im just trying to get :stoned: and do my thing. thats nice that you have to have a regulator, I just wanted to know if anyone has tried it and if they have tried it ,did it work well. If you don't wanna answer the question stay off my thread thank you.

thats what we are trying to tell you. Its not easily done, nor efficiently done, and for that matter, safely done.

Keep in mind, CO2 is one carbon and two oxygens. Long hydrocarbons, like kerosene and wax, have a formula of roughly H2C, essentially two hydrogens for each carbon. Carbon has an approximate atomic weight of 12, oxygen 18, and hydrogen 1. If you buy five pounds of CO2, you get exactly that, five pounds. If you get five pounds of wax or kerosene and burn it, then for each H2C unit, which weighs 14 atomic mass units, you get one molecule of CO2, which weighs 48 atomic mass units. I'm assuming your tank contains about 5 pounds of CO2. If you can get 5 pounds of wax for less than 20 dollars (you can) and then make it into a big-ass candle, this will net you about 17 pounds of CO2. Of course, there are hazards associated with fire, but you're pretty safe as long as there are no gas leaks and you make sure to keep it in a nice metal container with some sort of cover on it.
If you don't want to pay money and you don't want to risk burning something, you can always just let something rot in your grow area. That attracts mold though, which can be bad for buds. Or you can just mix some compost in with your soil. Compost in your soil will eventually release more than its weight in CO2 as it rots.
Still, as many have said, if you have decent ventilation, and you haven't fine-tuned your fertilizer, light, temperatures, etc, you won't notice a huge difference if you supplement your CO2.

A new way to co2!!!... Maybe?
I've considered CO2, but it seems to me that it's just as cheap to just add some more square feet of plants and grow more, if quantity is that big of an issue. I also don't want the hassle of a separate ventilation route just for my lights and another one just for the plants/CO2. Not saying that it's not worth doing...for a few people. But for most folks, it doesn't really seem very worthwhile to me. Just my two cents, and with that and five bucks maybe you could buy a coffee.

The easiest way i say to use the co2 from the cannisters will not be efficient but it'll deliver the co2 if thats what you want to do.
All you have to do is get a paintball marker and dont load any paintballs any it! Fire a couple of blank shot of co2 into the room and you have sucessfully delivered the co2. Once again this will probably not be efficient nor work very well but i gave him an answer to his question!

Ya, CO2 requires a delivery system, and a sensor to activate it on/off. Plus it requires H.I.D. lighting, higher temperatures, air tight room, correctly installed intake/exhaust system, etc. Simply releasing from a paintball gun thing mah jig most likely is not going to do much, if anything. Even if you are the MahGavah guy who can make an atomic bomb from shoe laces.
Ideally you inject C02 to the 1500 ppm mark, hold for 3 hours, and then totally swap out the air in the room and replace again during lights on.
My growroom is set up for it, but I decided not to phuck with. I am not crazy about a gas grill tank sitting in the house firing a C02 generator for one thing. And I get excellent results without using it.
But, if you insist on trying it, best of luck.
