Welcome back jamstigator!!! Missed ya!!

And I have to add that I agree wholeheartedly with your position of
There's more to life than smoking pot...like health care, education access for the less-than-wealthy, helping the poor with a leg up on improving their lives, fixing our crumbling electrical and road infrastructure, protecting the environment, the right to choose, gay rights, protection of civil liberties, division of church and state, and so on.

Having said that, Paul really does seem to be the only possible GOP nom worth a damn. He's not one of these current repugs who puts party ahead of country, and sold out to big business and the religious right. It speaks volumes that fellow conservatives tried to shut him out of debates. He's pragmatic and intelligent, and I have yet to see him try to pander to the emotions of the FAUX "News" crowd. He's pro-small government and quite focused on liberty.
He can think on his feet and is a successful person in life, unlike the current muppet we have in the White House. I'd vote for him, and that's saying something as I've sworn off supporting the right-side of the isle ever since these neoconservatives took over and shot this country in the foot.

Hell, as long as Hillary and Giuliani both aren't EVER in the White House I'll be happy.
