I work at a school. I am exposed to EVERYTHING! It's too late to do my trick, I think, but you might want to try it anyway. At the first sigh of getting sick, I brew up some hot herb tea (Chamomile, Sleepy-time, red tea, etc). Next, I turn on the electric blanket to warmer than I usually have it. Then I take a very hot bath and drink the tea. I usually have a toke, too. Then, after the bath is cooling, but still hot, I get out and off to bed. I try to sleep as long as possible.

What I am doing- many germs can ONLY reproduce in a very narrow range of temperatures. This is why when you get sick, your body responds with a fever! It slows down the germs and your body gets to make more antibodies, while the germ's levels remain about the same. So by drinking hot tea, getting into a hot tub and then a warmed bed, you have created an artificial fever. By the time I get out of the tub, I feel "limp" and ready for bed! I rarely an ill enough to miss work. Sleep as much as you can and take your vitamins! - Granny:hippy:
