Get High And Watch The Perseid Meteor Shower

Yeah, I got a bunch of skeeter bites too, but I saw some amazing fireballs. This is a pretty decent shower, if you stay out long enough. Just for an update, I talked to an astronomy friend of mine who said that the shower will get better and better until the sky becomes bright from dawn. Those on the west coast will have the absolute best view, because the shower peaks during the "daytime". Whoever can have night the latest, gets the best show.

Did this back in April for the lyrids...

Took some 40x salvia extract with me and loaded that into the bong while still buzzing a little...I was tripping balls for about 10 minutes...

hallucinogens can definitely enhance the experience...just lay down on a blanket and watch.

I have a small amount of that salvia left and a dub of diesel...bong hits are in order.

I didn't feel like going out, so I didn't see it. But late night/early morning, I was up and wanted something cold to drink so I walked to 7-11. On my way back I happened to look up and saw one. I guess I happened to catch a straggler, but I'm glad I did. I don't know why, but it made me happy to just catch one. Surprising too because this is in a city.

It's ok though. If you really want to see some, just go off somewhere away from civilization where there aren't streetlights and stuff, then lie on your back when you go to sleep (go camping, or boating and lie on the deck). If you're from the city, you'd be surprised how much the sky is lit up by stars when you're away from all those lights (and pollution probably). Easier for light coming from space to reach you. You'll see a shitload more of stars, and if you lie there for a while, you can take in more light over time (at least I think, like how they took hubble deep space), and see more. Anyways, if you do that, you'll be surprised how common "shooting stars" are.

OMG im so pisssed.. u just reminded me about the shower. UGH i was so drunk this weeknd.. and out of my head.. that i totaly forgot.. how could i forget this i was even in the mountains that would of been one hell of a show how was it?
