You can't ignore them.. that only make's things worse for the other person. You need to be forward, but in a gentle way. Just tell her the truth on how you feel. Hopefully she's mature enough to understand. And if not well... that's not your fault you did your part. Their's no point in hanging on.. When their's no future. And if you still want to remain friends, make sure shes okay with it. And if not let her be... When she get's over the fact she's been dumped for all the right reasons.. Then she might want to be your friend..
