Help a noob out!

I need help, im sure what im doing wrong... Ok for the past 3 weeks Ive recently been interested in smoking weed, My friend gave me a gram one night, and I had studied up on weed b4 hand so I was like fuck it, it wont hurt me. So I went home and rolled the gram, wasnt the best joint in the world . But the next day I went out and smoked it (I do know how to inhale), but I only got buzzed... So I found out that hardly anyone gets high the first time. So he sold me 3 more grams. He rolled me a really nice joint, and I went to smoke it, I only got buzzed. So the next night I rolled another joint, smoked it, and didnt get high. So I rolled one more 20 minutes later, and STILL didnt get high... I cant seem to figure out what im doing wrong! Its wasting weed and pissing me off

Well First off it might not be weed, maybe post a pic. Second, its very poor quality, maybe post a pic. Third, maybe what your saying by buzzed is just being high, it might just not be what you expect.

or maybe the stuff is be legit, but that you need to learn what being high feels like. Some new users are kinda dissapointed in it, waiting for something crazy to kick in.

Ok, Ill try to get a picture of it. I was a bit sceptical of it myself, But i mean it looks like weed, from what ive seen of other stashes (seeds, stems, and all that shit) I did mix a little tobacco in with it, just to it'll light better.

putting tobacco is fine (well of course not the same amount than the weed) here we do it all the time. Some dont like it, its their choice. It helps the weed burn nicely and doesnt even taste or smell.

although seeds are not a good sign when you get em in ur bag.
