first of all Iam very sorry that you belive that. I can not write down every rebuttle that this man is saying, there is not the space
but let me first say that the bible has stood the test of time for
hundereds of years, people love to take a verse here and a verse
there and pull them out of context,and you simply cant do that.

The "Test of Time" is usually a "test" in which an object, person, or subject is discussed or critiqued over a long period of time, but many people still have faith in the object/person regardless. In this case, the Bible. It has gone through much controversy, but MANY people still hold to their faith, and it is still widely distributed, even after two thousand years.

the test of time means just that, The test of time. many men have tried to come up against and the have failed to put out its light. the bible stiil stands on a Rock that can not be moved.
jesus said that heaven and earth may pass away, but my Word
will not pass away. But God has given us free will, we can chose
not to belive if we want. many men chose to belive in there own
philosophy about life and that is there right, but what will it profit
a man to gain the whole world, but lose his own soul.

unlike those who would follow in the footsteps of the dead, i am willing to take responsibility for my own actions. by your standards i may be risking my "immortal soul", but by mine i am merely living this life by my rules and beliefs. in death, as in life, i am willing to accept the consequences of my actions. luckily, death is its own consequence.

Atheism and Agnosticism are quite strong as well, there's over a billion of them in the world, just under islam and xianity. And quite a bit of the world had no choice to their religion, they were either converted or killed. I'm sure if atheists banded together to form a global network and eradicate all religion by force, they'd do a decent job as well.

Alot of people believe in God because they want to live forever, because they are scared of their souls being tortured for eternity. Having people follow beliefs out of fear or promise of reward is a huge problem I have with organised religion.

I don't disprove Jesus, mainly because I don't care wether he was real or not. What's important to taken from the bible is its main moral messages. A book that teaches via examples. To take it in a literal sense given the nature of translation would also seem to me abit wrong.

I have faith in myself, and the world around me. I maintain awareness with not goal or rules, except to carry the idea that I am a sponge, and while I don't know what will happen after I "die", I will do all I can to abosorb asmuch about the world as possible as it appears to me. To travel through life with goals. I don't think I need a book to teach me how to not increase suffering in the world.
