 Younger stoners loving oldies??Hmmm...
 I'm kind of the opposite.
I grew up in the 60's and 70's, and I still like the music, but I listen to mostly Trance and House now.
I still love the old psychedelic rock, and even '70's punk, but when I put some tunes on, it's usually post-rave dance music.

Younger stoners loving oldies??well im 23 and i for one looove most of the muzik from the good ol days, the grateful dead (jarry garcia is my idol) pink floyd, the beatles had some good songs, ac/dc, all that good stuff, im actually listen to some good grateful dead right now,

i hate all of the music today its just so materialistic and meaning less, could you imagine jarry garcia singing about his fly twenty fo's on his pimped out caddy?

muzik is sposta sooth the soul, there is no music today that does that, T.I really pisses me off the guy has no talent what so ever, if you listen to one of his songs they are pointless meaningless and stupid big things poppin and lil things stoppin? he is a multi platnum rapper? and he can't even rhyme that great and he doesint even have that many rhymes in his songs its just his stupid ass talking about his fuckin rims and diamonds, now what im about to say is gonna sound racist but i dont mean it in that way, t.i. is the dictionarys description of a nig*er an extremely ignorant person,

im not a racist really but ido hate ignorant black ppl allot but i also hate ignorant white ppl the same,

another prime example of all the materialistic pointless shit music nowa days is furgy, did u ever see that video with ludacris she made, like the main thing they say in it is "if you aint got no money take your broke ass home" when is the world gonna learn that love is waaaaaaay more important then money????

so to sum it all up yes the classics kick ass,

 peace out TjM

Younger stoners loving oldies??Im 16 and cant stand any of the music of today, it makes me want to vomit. I listen to late 60s/70s rock like zepp, the doors, beatles , floyd, hendrix, grateful dead, the kinks, jefferson ariplane, tom petty, the who,and bob dylan to name a few. My generations hit music is empty, fake and all sounds manufactured. Theres probably a lot of good music out here (not the stuff you hear on the radio) but i just like the overall sound of classic rock 10x better. I do like sublime though and i occasionally hear them on the radio.

i don't even want to talk about rap

Younger stoners loving oldies??the supergroups of the 70's are becoming popular again amongst younger listeners and even older listeners for a few main reasons

*The older records of the 70's are now being re-mastered and re-released with better quality sound, so the younger listeners are now able to easily access the older music, and older listeners are able to re-purchase their beloved favorites in higher quality

 * Rock music today has become very commercial and somewhat stagnant. There are still many talented bands out there, they're just a little harder to find and require looking into somethings on your own rather than just what's played on the radio. Problem is most listeners dont want to take the time to explore something they've never heard of, so when becoming bored with the stuff thats currently on the radio they look back at older artists they've heard of or rememer that thier parents listened to, and find a new appreciation for it, gaining listeners in a new generation.

also a third reason is cause a lot of the music that has stayed popular over the years are the greats of the past era's and good music is timeless.

Younger stoners loving oldies??^ well said. tried to rep for it, but gotta spread some first

I'm 27. I just missed the good ol' music from back in the day like Hendrix, Doors, Who, CCR, and the like. Most bands today sound just like each other. Tha's what I like about the old stuff. It was original back then.
