Yeah the ability to easily grow medicine (cannabis) is apparently the primary factor making cannabis illegal. Most drug/medicine plants are much harder to grow or harvest, and usually can only grow properly in certain geographical areas. For example I can grow opium poppies, but it's not easy to harvest (apparently) and high quality drug can only be produced from poppies grown in certain geographical areas, same goes for tobacco, tea, chocolate, and all kinds of stuff.
Sombrero Reviewed by Sombrero on . Why is marinol legal and marijuana is not legal? If marinol is the same as marijuana except that it doesn't contain additional chemicals that marijuana has, why is marijuana illegal, but marinol is legal? Also, people smoke marijuana because they cannot be prescribed marinol in a legal way? I mean, marinol is prescribed for cancer and AIDS patients, and most people don't have either cancer or AIDS.
