I recently went to jail for a period of 26 hours with my 3 friends for possession of marijuana. It was different than what I expected- you always hear about how mean everyone is. Inside the holding tank we got our own bedroom area- there were four different rooms with four bunks each. Everyone in there was friendly, believe it or not, and just traded stories and sat there bored out of our minds.

It wasn't necessarily the best experience, but all we did was hangout and come off our high together. The legal costs are most definitely the worst part of it all.

I think its funny how people always go back to the "dont drop the soap" thing. Some prisons and jails now have individual showering to cut down on violence and aggressive homosexuality. Where I was, was petty chill since it was one of the smaller military prisons but it still sucks not having the company of females. Overall, prison sucks but I learned alot. Oh yeah and if any of you do go dont think you're smart by buying body wash, that stuff takes alot longer to pick up.

it pretty much sucked balls tho...

a cold ass cement room, with cold ass cement seats, and all kinds of people...

the only place to piss was in a corner with a wall about 3 ft high on two sides of it...

the food is real shitty, at 4 in the morning we got some food and it was a fake bologna sandwhich, with frozen orange juice, some old fake oreos, and torilla chips...

then at 8 in the morning we got grinded up fake bologna, and everything else the same...

i got to do a lot of thinking in there tho..

I did sum time in juvy its jail for under aged people....but its the same the whole thing sucks especially shower time and taking shits right next to another guy....since i got locked up here in California theres gangs so i did have to fight especially black dudes since i'm hispanic your automatically enemies....i personally have nothing against black people my best friend is black but in there i hated evryone of them....the food is horrible the cells are small and is either too hot or too cold....it gets really boring.....u gotta constantly watch ur back i was ther when i was 16 so i was in ther with 17 and 18 year olds and they were all bigger than me and much harder but i kept my ground and fought back....the worst thing is the fact that U CAN"T GET OUT besides no sex no friends no mommy no weed no burgers no girls at all no privacy no waking up late no freedom

I got those too. And man oh man is the oatmeal terrible. You have to hoard your salt for days to have some decent tasting grits, as well. But ya, i was just in jail and it sucked balls sitting in the cell for 21 hours. I can only imagine how bad prison is and cant see how (oleg) anyone can aspire to say theyve been in prison

Never been arrested, only cautioned once for you guessed it I prefer my freedom so stealth and paranoia is key, paranoia is the highest form of awareness said john lennon. I would hate to go to prison but if i ever do end up there, i'll work out a lot, write a book or some comedy and probably straighten my life out. Hopefully that will never happen, if i didn't smoke weed i'd prob be a cop but i like ganja too much to bow down to laws which are unjust.

yep. cant agree more. I rather live a paranoid look @ my back 24/7 on the streets than in prison. and that is the case for a grower imo.

prisons/jail suck and aint no fun, no matter how u look @ it. I've been into an Iranian prison, but those places due to different characteristics of people in general are far far different from what u have anywhere in west.

they are actually fun to some extent, guard brutaility or brutality for that matter is not all that common at all. and there are a lot of innocent people in there.
people go to jail for a bounced check there so u can tell....

sure there are dangerous people in there as well. but murderors dont get locked up in Iran for too long, they get sent to execution room soon. and in my experience prisons in Iran are in different wards. meaning that a small time drug offender wont be locked up with a rapist or murderer. same with financial crimes... every type of crime depending on seriousness n stuff has its own separate ward.

In county jail you're not gonna get raped, nobody is gonna be raping a person who is in for under 2- years... You might get into an arguement, maybe a fight but for most of all people are just tryna do their time and get the fuck out. Shit if you don't smoke ciggerettes, it isn't THAT bad in jail.. A lot of irritable people, because you can't smoke though..

Prison is different, you're with the thugs. They are in there for a reason, they probally aren't the smartest or make the best decisions.. Some are hateful for no reason, and if the wrong person ends up hating you a situation may come of it. Even if you can fight and beat his ass, you know someone in there has got some boys that aren't afraid to put in some work.

I went to juvy when I was 17 after a high speed chase and we ate a bunch of pills.. That was the best time in 'jail' I'll probally ever have, rolling tough with my 7 friends off an entire roll.. Talking about the high speed chase we were just in and how crazy that was [ stupid kids ].. LOL.

I am sitting there and the cop is like 'What color are your eyes, we can't even see tham they're so dialated.'' lol... I remember asking 'will this wart on my finger mess up the prints'

Been there, seen it, will NEVER go back.
have seen a kid 18 years old get 340 years and ASS RAPED on his first day. hung himself on his 1st month.
there is a hierarchy in jail.
Murderures are king
drug dealers ect.
Rapists low lifes
child molestors are scum.
Prison is diferant in every state.
Where I am from and when I served my time I did so peacefully and with out GANG interferance.
AND NO I never ran up inside anyone and NEVER had anyone inside me.
Weed was 4 packs of marlboros and was a pinner about the size of a sewing needle.
Psycotropic drugs from the unstable inmates were cheeper and the order of the day.

You dispised calendars and loved the clock, time was all you had.
Money was contraband and there was NO conjecle visits.
Your in prison not a weekend whore house, fucking is a privilage not a right.
