Hey, kids, pot is bad 4U
I say we should defund and disband the dea, and I don't care who hears me say it.
They are God-Damned (litterally!), evil, sadistic, contumacious, cowardly BASTARDS!!!
I regularly protest their existence by writing my legislators, and attending anti-dea rallys.
And you can be sure they are reading this very thread. They probably even post here.

Don't let this stuff upset you, seriously, who are they fooling? Even if they are, people have to think for themselves. If a website like this is going to keep some one from smoking weed then I fear for the human race, and we have a far bigger problem on our hands.

It's not the anti-cannabis propaganda that upsets me, but rather the way that it is presented. "how could it be bad 4 me?" and "pot, motivation, and U" are downright insults to our intelligence. Hell, not even MTV is as mind-numbing to our youth as this bullshit is (that is saying a lot, I loathe MTV). Thank Buddha and Apollo for websites like Erowid.org that give non-biased FACTS.

I know this is probably not going to be a popular viewpoint, however IMHO I believe that young adults have so much growing inside themselves to do both physically and mentally.
I beleive marijuana is best and most effectively used by adults. Children need all their cognitive abilities to help develope and make decisions, learn more effectively and just in general "be a kid". There will be plenty of time to smoke when u get older.
Now on the other hand please do not tell me this when I was 17 years old. I did not agree at the time nor would i now if i was 17. Truth is, it is in general a hinderance in growing children. For a child's overall health and developement therein, I would say over-the-top anti marijuana advertisments as long as they keep children away from pot until they become adults is a good thing (honestly i say make pot legal for 21 yr olds)
Is it not dangerous for children? I could be wrong.../discuss

Very true, my man. People do need to think for themselves, else our government can control us more! Wait, they are already controlling a majority of the populace. Ouch.

I looked at the "Rx Pot" link on their website, about medical marijuana. They say that it is not an effective medicine. Tell that to the people who use it as medicine! They say a better alternative is Marinol, aka: a synthetic THC pill. And yet, on their site they claim cannabis is bad now because it's "more potent than it was in the 60's and 70's," (which was disproven, considering the sample used was from the '70s, and had degraded in potency over 30 or so years, and it was compared to fresh cannabis) and talked down on THC. It makes no sense. "THC is bad for you!" "Oh, but Marinol, which is a pure synthetic THC, is better than Marijuana!"
We are in a very unenlightened society. If heaven exists, I would be 100% positive that the original founders of this country, and the creators of the constitution and the bill of rights, would be very pissed and displeased in how our country has ended up. There is a reason why 14 states have legalized medical marijuana.
It shouldn't be up to politicians about whether marijuana can be used for medicine or not. They obviously have a bias against it. So do these "justthinktwice" idiots.
Look at their "Drug Legalization Doesn't Work" link. How do they know? Obviously our prohibition only escalates crime, and many other bad things (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) â?º Cops Say for more information). Obviously we need a new strategy, and the strategy for the legalization and regulation of drugs makes a lot of sense - more sense than the retarded laws we have now.
Fact & Fiction : Drug Legalization Doesn't Work
There are no citations, and they're lies. The Dutch policies have worked way better than ours. Hard drug use is down, and so is cannabis use within the citizenship of Holland, in fact. There was a slight increase in cannabis use for awhile, but it went down. Even the prime minister of Holland said so. Why do they feel they need to do this? They've obviously never looked at the real facts. Even if they have, then they must have an agenda against cannabis other than "it's such an awful drug." Where the fuck are the websites talking down on Crack-Cocaine? Our country is so incredibly biased against cannabis, more-so than actual hard drugs.
If you legalize it, you can control it, and regulate it. It's obvious, and it makes a lot of sense.
My question is, how do these groups still hold such credibility? Oh, I know, because a lot of the "research" that they cite is biased.
By the way, this website is run by the DEA. Credible to you? No. Credible to a majority of the population? Most likely.blaze the haze for daze
