I lost an ounce of chronic to fungus...
I even took a puff of that stuff and it was disgusting. So I few days ago; I don't know what the hell I was thinking, I decided to gather all the stems from the infected stash of fungus and just put in a jar with water.
Amazingly, it seems like one of them is sprouting a couple of roots. I'm going to let them stay in the jar for at least another week so they will develop more roots. So if I plant all of them in the future, they will all be femalesimp:
I'm just really upset that I lost an ounce of it but hopefully I can make that back in a few months. Is it even possible to let cannabis grow with natural sunlight and water? Would it be able to bud?Mariusvlatkorova Reviewed by Mariusvlatkorova on . I lost an ounce of chronic to fungus... I even took a puff of that stuff and it was disgusting. You may be right. However, I'm going to let it continue to sprout more roots and then eventually plant them. I know it's disgusting but I'm doing this because I have a great interest in the field of biology. It may be possible that the kronik and fungus have formed a mutual relationship with each other, you can read more about that here Mycorrhiza - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

lol I am fully aware of mycorrhizae...
You can't form a mutual relationship with something that's DEAD.
And the 'rhizae' bit is from the Latin for soil... a glass of water isn't going to support that class of fungi.
Lastly, the fungus that attacks bud isn't a mycorrhizal at all.

Me either. And if I were you Maria....I might keep that water at arms length until I were DAMN sure what was growing there.....
cause I don't think it's roots.

Umm... Eww.
I'm almost positive that it is fungus growing in there, and not roots. Something kinda tells me that a dried stem from chopped chronic bud won't grow any roots if it's placed in a jar of water...But feel free to prove me wrong, because if it works like that, my future is going to be very happy.[SIZE=\"5\"][COLOR=\"DarkOrchid\"][align=center]R.I.P.
