seedlings are dying
i planted 7 seeds and three of them have died?????
ive. been spraying the soil everyday maybe i over waterd them?
i also added lime maybe it ended up being to much 2 seeds also dint sprout dug them up and the root that was showing died and dryed up?
was it the over watering or the lime or both?
im gonna start over with the same dirt i have but not gonna add anything till there A atleast 4 inch tall 2 weeks
this dint happen with the last ones didnt add anything first time and sprouted with nice stalk
i know its not the dirt because i got clones growing in the same dirt i think when i was spraying i didnt let the hole dirt get saturated dont really know?
any suggestions?smokinbuds21 Reviewed by smokinbuds21 on . seedlings are dying i planted 7 seeds and three of them have died????? ive. been spraying the soil everyday maybe i over waterd them? i also added lime maybe it ended up being to much 2 seeds also dint sprout dug them up and the root that was showing died and dryed up? was it the over watering or the lime or both? im gonna start over with the same dirt i have but not gonna add anything till there A atleast 4 inch tall 2 weeks Rating: 5

yeah I wouldnt add anything to seedlings until they are almost in the beg stage or have developed a good root system. They are too fragile and young to handle nutes or too much water.

"FireTheft well how much lime did you put in? you need very little"
thats the thing i put a pinch but my small pots only hold about a half of cup of dirt so i guess it was a over dose!!!
im putting new dirt with new seeds and nothing else for atleast two weeks!!
is that pot size to small? will it work for atleast two weeks?

Are you using bagged soil or your mix ? Alot of the organic bagged soils contain crushed shells of some kind mainly oyster but that helps you PH level alot and unless you are using overly extremely hard water or non organic ferts you should be ok. If you are mixing your own do it all together and then put the soil in your cups instead of a pinch in each and mixed more even balance.
Usually I leave them in these cups for up to 3 weeks before going to a gallon pot. But these are autoflowers ( BlueStreak ) and i'll repot as soon as they sex maybe another week or so before they go into 2 gallon pots.

i used those same pellets and it worked before my first time and now i put the lime on the dirt i such a dumbass i dont know why i did it!
oh well i will you it later on in my grow it has a lot of good things for but i have some other things for it but not untill its time i started germinatin yesterday and one of them are actually a kb seed that some one gave to me and i can see the root coming out of it already!
i have a nother one for ya if kb is mostly females my friend buys in bulk all the time and he actually ran into a seed he grinds it all up but he found a seed its kinda fat way bigger than mid grade seeds
well my question is sence there was like one seed in a qp wont the plant be a female and how did the seed get in there if it really was female?

SB21 - If you are going to grow in soil, Why don't you find one of Stinkyattic's posts about the kind soil she uses; then start out with good soil from the very beginning. You will probably be more successful and have fewer problems.

my clones are growing fast now that i wae the soil
i have one seedling alive that survived the lime but i also did a quick miny flush on it, it also grew bigger over night!
thats what it iis pharmacan the lime had to be! i have a few more seeds and i plan to be clean this time
the soil i use is jiffy potting mix all clean and doesnt hold water that long though so requires more watering
is it possible a plant can be a hermi with just one seed? literly one seed maybe two but i doubt it this guy goes through his stuff therally thats why i dont understand why just one seed?
