    Pollinating a single branch

    Hey all

I've got a Chronic clone that's about 3 weeks away from harvest, is it too late to pollinate a single branch with some NYC diesel pollen i've got?

I've got some small NYC fem's which are 2 weeks into flowering, in another 2 weeks i'll take 1 and put it with my males, how long do the seeds take to mature btw?

    Many thanks!

Seeds appear in 5 days - 1 week, and are nice and mature after a couple of weeks. Go for it.

You can do it. With pollen, less is more. Use a small paint brush.
Allow 3 weeks to ripen. Seeds DO continue to ripen slightly after harvest, but you need at least 2- 2 1/2 weeks on the plant.

Thanks for the good reply's peeps! I'm going to put some pollen (quarter gram?) in a zip bag and put the bag over the branch for a couple of hours and give it some shaking, are the chances low then of pollen getting onto the other branches? Dont want a whole plant full of seeds lol

Is it best to do it dark/light time btw?

That method will get pollen everywhere.
I'm so glad I gave you some advice that you are ignoring.
    I'll just STFU now.

for what it's worth, the recent seed-breeding I did, was prolonged to a month, and the seeds looked barely mature ... (perhaps it's just my strain, but it's worth noting) ... :smokin:
