    Hot lights

I just got a 400w hps for flowering, anyways the closet has been getting pretty hot in the dark period. Any advice on how to fix the problem? Also, i heard that you can use a green light on your plants in the dark period and it wont affect them. any info or insight would be appreciated.

    Hot lights

if its hot during the dark period it probably has nothing to do with your light but you might increase the ventilation of the room.
need more info to really be of any help it is very unusual for temps to be warmer during the dark period as usually its warmer when the lights are on.
