Newb Cfl grow. Am i on the right track?
My advice is this...
Because you are using less light, your plants will gain more from max lumens, than from ideal spectrum.
Put more lux on the leaves. Your plants want brightness more than anything in flower.
Get the brightest bulbs your system can handle, and never lower your lumens. Maybe even try to add more light. Some folks say you should double your watts from veg to bloom, but again, you're not growing in an ideal environment, so max out what you can.psteve Reviewed by psteve on . Newb Cfl grow. Am i on the right track? I have been without herb for two weeks now :(. I know no smokers where i live now, and sice I never want to be dry again i am going to have to start growing again. I used to grow with a 400w mh/hps dwc set up, but my ballast burned out, and recently i moved and 400w would really be too much for my living situation now. I want to do 1-2 plants in a dwc and lst or scrog them. So i am planning on doing something very similar to this: Rating: 5
