I understand about equal opportunity but in the same breath you can't be treated differently than others, they can't be subject to a hair test and you not either. Then they have been discriminated. Definitely a weird area. I would also think that you are going to have to prove this more than just saying you are a member of Rasta.

Here's my question: I am getting hair tested for a future job I really really want. I have dreads, but I also do have a decent amount of random straglers for them to grab. I am also a female, 5'5" and about 135lbs, I hear that may make a difference. Over the phone they had said if they cannot get my hair due to the dreads (they do not take dreads) they could probably get the testing done some other way. This was a great thing for me Rating: 5
