Filtered Gravity Bong.

If you would like to make gravity bong hits get filtered through water as a regular bong does (this is a great way to reduce the temperature of the smoke to help you take larger hits and make larger hits feel smaller thus getting you higher due to the ability to take more smoke without coughing)

Now lets cut to the chase, how is this done. many of you more expereinced stoners on the boards will have already heard of people doing this with pipes. This method can truthfully, be used with almost any smoking medium that isn't already filtred, and even filtered ones (gets filtered 2 times) and this includes gravity bongs. So, How is this done? (skip the entire next paragraph because its just about the bud that im smoking right now, and its a rant and its long)

Well firstly, im very high on some purple bud called mondo monkey that my friend got from the clinic. Its the best bud ive ever had in my life. yesterday i was the highest ive ever been when i smoked about 16-20 hits off of my blunt and then took 5 gravity hits. thats not the half of it, ive smoked about 7 gravity hits of it right about now... and im looking.. and there is TONS more greenery and more bowl left but i can't finish it cuz im TOO HIGH already... if i was with friends it would be the part of the movie where i said "im cool on that shit yo" adding the word "yo" in one desperate attempt at coolness before the humiliating silence. because no one wants to look like a pussy but seriously. im too stoned to smoke more. best bud ever.

sorry for that but anyways, here is how you filter something... all you have to do is put water in your mouth. however much you want, any amount you can fit in your mouth comfortably will work.
next you just must be sure that when you hit the pipe/gravity bong/joint whatever that you be sure to open your lips only in a TINY area and to only open them a TINY bit so that no water spills. and the object is to never open your mouth for a moment that you are NOT taking a hit. otherwise the water will just plain spill out of your mouth because thats the first thing it wants to do. make sure that when you hit it to.. you're actually MAKING a filter. the object is to make it go through the water so you must tild your head down so that it actually goes up and through the water. anyways. thats about it.

PS. Make sure that you don't swallow the water that you use, even if its ice cold.. and you have cotton mouth from that last filtered hit... because once you've taken just one hit through the water its officially BONG WATER. and it tastes like it too. so make sure you have a place to spit out the water, and if your using a gravity, thats just spitting it right back into the bottle! EASY! (for sanitary reasons change the water right afterwards)

You need a piece of tubing that goes from the bowl down to near the bottom of the g bong. The tubing has to be air tight around the bowl and there has to be no where air can get in apart from where the bud will be buring, otherwise it will not work. You should be able to lift the bottle up until the end of the tube reaches the water in the bucket without the water level in the g bong moving. As soon as the end of the tube goes about the water level in the bucket the air will start to be drawn down the tube. Ill draw a few pics in a in a bit.
