Personally I think it is disgusting and will not eat with my wife's kids and it has taken serious threats of me leaving to get her to chew with her mouth shut. She still fucks up every now and then somehow and I cannot understand how anyone can be raised like that. I want to slap her parents in the face for being so incompentent as a parent to let their kid sit there and chew like a cow.
I fucking hate it with all of my heart when some idiot chews with their mouth open and always say something to embarrass them so maybe they will learn to have a little common courtesy and chew with their mouths shut, especially when they are around me when eating. It is enough that I will reach across the table and stab them with a fork to get my point across.

I always took first dates for a meal.
If there was any mouth noise, there was no second date.

If even a sound is heard, the mouth is open too far.
The lips should never seperate when there is food in the mouth, ever. That is unles you are choking and need the Heimlich maneuver done to you. Then and only then is it acceptable for one to have their mouth open with food in it. But they probably deserved to be choking because they were making a pig out of themself.
