Poll: How many plants do you put under a 1000 watter?
I have done too many my first two cycles, but things always turned out pretty well. This time however, I've purchased two 4X4 tables, and I'm having trouble figuring out how many I want to do. I have friends recommending I take it down to as long as nine per tray which I find to be pretty damn small. I was thinking more along the lines of 12-14 per tray. I suppose you could pack 16 in there if you really wanted things to be tight, as most plants take up a square foot per. I am using 3 gallon pots.
Of course, this kind of depends on the strain as to weather or not nine plants could fill out a 4X4 canopy with only nine plants. I will be growing a strain they are calling Care-Free which is Early Durban crossed with Afgoo - sounds kind of interesting. Anyhow, just looking to see what other fellow growers do!razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . Poll: How many plants do you put under a 1000 watter? lol a poll would be nice...
I run 25 under a k in flower. Each plant is in a 12" square pot that holds about 3 gallons of compost. They are at all flowering stages, and different strains, with the largest plants being pushed to the sides and corners for a stadium effect. They get rearranged regularly as they change and grow and are harvested.

I flower my clones at around 10 inches with some training- usually jsut bent over to encourage side growth. Nothing fancy. Mostly though I'm flowering retired mothers. They look a mess.
Hey Ima go check in on your pesticide thread. I'm worried about ya big guy.

I've run as few as 4 and as many as 192.
I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve

2 4x8 tables in an 8x8 space, each packed w/ 5" square pots (lip to lip) full o' expanded clay. E&F.
Identical cuttings-
100ish first run, aerocloner- hint- lay the cuts out on a cutting board in smaller batches, align bottom-most point of root immersion. Trim roots to the length of shortest root occuring. Do the same up top. Pick a sample from your first batch and use as template for succeeding. Load 5" pots, veg under flos.
Second batch staggered 3 days behind, same process. No veg.
Second (0 veg) goes in center of square created by twin tables edge to edge. First (3 veg) fill perimeter. Flower immediately- if strain exhibits sig stretch, shorten lights on period below 12/12. Oscillating fans everywhere.
Yer looking @ 5-10 g per stick, but making up for it in #'s.
This was an example of taking something WAY TOO FAR- did not scale up well. Center of that table was a freakin' nightmare. Alternating working pots w/ empties actually yielded better, but is not as funnyI assume you understand that we have options on your time,

That is tooo much. Center of the table...that must have been great to see. So what was the reason behind the mass production? Speed?

I'm currently have 3 under a 1000w hps in flower all are in 12" square containers. The area is 4x5x8, they are in week 3 and are a little under 3 feet tall. I only plan on doing 4 at most hoping less will equal more. I used to do 20 in a drip system though thought it was to much but at that time I was new to growing.
