    questions about growing outdoors

well been about a week since i last posted a pic and i reckon they've grown a fair bit,the branches are all getting huge and reaching out as high as the main cola top forming a nice canopy, lots of horizontal growth on the branches too as shoots grow towards any open spaces they can find,

the space between nodes is beginning to get considerably smaller so really hope flowering has started,or is going to start real soon

got a screen on top of my fence so things are a little more hidden now

    anyway,some pics

    questions about growing outdoors

well it's been a good week or so,plants just keep getting bigger and are around 5 feet tall now, they're also showing some real early signs of buds so i'm assuming they're flowering now,and the small one is bushing out somewhat and getting taller, she's around 2 feet high
and i got the fence fixed too so no seeing my plants unless your next to them, though they're getting so tall they'll be sticking up above the fence in the next week or so
    anyway some pics of them

    thanks hydro
well things are looking good, definately started flowering, loads of white hairs all over, found loads of holes over some of the leaves at the tops of plants but don't know what it was, couldn't see any pests through microscope,so just removed or trimmed affected leaves and it seems to have worked, new growth isn't effected
they're getting real tall but still not cleared the top of the fence which is good, the smaller plant in the small pot has been moved indoors under the 400w hps for flowering, just in case things go wrong outside
    anyway some pics

Damn those look nice... Thats a good big pot. But trust me you'll come across more problems inside than outside. For every 1 problem growing outdoors there are about 3 problems indoors. Outdoor, mother nature does everything for you.. almost..

yeah i get what you're saying, though there was a few reasons for the move indoors, for 1 the pot was easily lifted so that plant could have been easily stolen if anyone did venture into my garden, another was that we're already experiencing night time temps of 6 celcius here which is almost cold enough for frost which worries me as its still only september, then there was the fact that it's still another few weeks before we go 12/12 here,we still get around 13.5 hours of light,so wanted to get it budding now so i'm not tempted to chop the big ones early, and a few others that i shalln't bother going into

They look great. YOu might want to repot the inside girl before it gets too into flowering. The more room you give it the better it will yeild.

    questions about growing outdoors

well another week on and the plants still look pretty good, have had something munching my leaves, aphids and mites i think but a little soapy spray seems to have fixed things,it's windy as hell today and they're being blown around something awful,i cringe to watch it but they seem to be holding up well, had to move little one back outside so deciced to leave it there,as you'll see from the pics we're well flowering now, just another 6 weeks maybe less to go

    questions about growing outdoors

well another 10 days or so on and all is still well, though i did have a bit of a scare, seems my little plant was clobbered by a mini tornado!!thing is we don't get that sort of thing round these parts, completely flattened it but i took advantage of it and tied some wire round it while it was down,so it stayed down when the sun came out,she looks great now i think, she's 2 feet high including pot and like 3 feet wide in all directions, the big plants look great too, well into flower now but i don't know how long exactly, hope they finish soonish as we've had the odd night time temps of 4 degreec C around these parts
    anyway some pics
