but what about those individuals who photograph children nude, in 'non-sexual' manners and try to call it art...

you'd call it child porn correct?

see i've never really understood the line between them.... if a nude child just standing upright is child porn, how is a nude woman standing up just art....?

Depending on how comfortable I'd feel around the photographer I might do it. I guess I'm kind of a closet exhibitionist though... if there is such a thing.

I don't know if there's really a huge market for nude male models though.

The problem is you may have one thing in mind and the photographer may have something else in mind. They may present it as artistic at first and it may quickly get into something else. Some of those guys are so slick they can talk anyone into doing anything. These days if I was a girl and I was offered even a photo shoot with no nudity, I would take about a dozen friends with me.

What exactly did you mean by the second question?

Just look at Joe Francis, he can get girls to do anything just for a T-Shirt.

I was just wondering if anyone here has done any nude modeling? Not, porn, but modeling done in a classy professional way.

Also, what would you say if a professional photographer came up and asked you to model?

I've thought about it, but would most likely never be comfortable with it. I have some friends that are photographers..and they are dudes..and I just know they would be in it for more than the pictures..

..I had a chick friend of mine as if we would do some once...but that never happened.

I would do it and I'm a guy. Several girls have told me that I should do it. But, I'm not arrogant or anything like most models, I just like to smoke cannabis so it will probably never happen. If anything I would just do it for the money, lol, because I have no problem just standing there or whatever, I'd be really high, so it would be funny to me.

exactly. look back in history at all the art of naked women. they were painted or drawn because of their beauty, not so other people can jerk off. we just live in a horny society:thumbsup:

im ok with nude modeling....but it depends on what its for.....tasteful, yes....nasty stuff, nope. But, even if a photographer has good intentions with his work, some of them can be creepy, or just give off that 'weirdo' vibe....lol thats why i always take my hubby with me. If i dont like the photographer, i'm out

For art "life" classes in painting and sketching, there are always jobs for young men and women, although women get the majority of them. Many schools and universities hire their models through an agent, so you might want to look into it. It's not easy work, since you have to hold the positions for a while until you go on a break.

Since it usually pays much more, photographic modeling is harder to break into than art modeling.

A number of years ago a moonlighting NYC fireman did some nude photo modeling, and was told by the photographer that the pictures would be used in a magazine for women. They ended up on a gay-male calendar that was published. He was not happy about this.
