I am not "lying" now I know you did your research but you're wrong. Prostitution is legal in the state of Nevada, but in Clark County, where the city of Las Vegas is, prostitution is illegal under county laws. Of course any one who has EVER been to Las Vegas will tell you that you can't walk down the strip with out seeing card/advertisements for "escorts". Those don't guarantee that you'll get sex from them. The law is barely enforced, but it's on the books.

It is illegal because of racism. It was a way to keep Mexicans, Afro-Americans and entertainers controlled- not that it did! Read the urls below and you'll have some "ammo" to argue with. It is highly politically incorrect to be racist. If the laws that were originally enacted, are based on racism, then today's laws are fruit from a tainted tree! How can a person who is racial unbiased (or claims to be) support antiquated laws that are based on racism and continue to be enforced in a racially biased way?

These same antiquated laws were bolstered by the fears of big business moguls (cotton, timber, newspaper) who feared the competition. The pharmaceutical companies took a big hit when cannabis became illegal. Many common medicines were made from cannabis- even Sears and Roebucks sold it! But eventually, the pharmaceutical companies found other "laboratory-based" medicines and are now so invested in them that they have now become one of the "moguls" who are defending prohibition.

Timber companies fear cannabis, pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, cotton growers, the prison industry, there's quite the list- and they all are threatened by cannabis! Why, cannabis threatens the very (warped) fabric of our society!- we might get foreign oil independent (so we wouldn't have to go out and fight for it!), have fewer side effects from drugs, fewer prisons would be needed (the US has the HIGHEST % of it's population in jail than anyone!), have longer lasting natural fiber clothes (grown with fewer pesticides), more forests, and happier, healthier, more relaxed people who may actually THINK! :smokin:
