Was wondering when you put the germinated seed into the soil if i should water immediatly that day.

hi dubsac7,yes you need to water it straight away,but don't give it to much,you don't want the seedling to drown...done it myself a few time's when i started,an i fryed a few by letting them dry out to much!!but much knowlage to be gained from making mistake's...hope this help's..love an respect..spliffbuilder.

hi dub,i knew i'd spelt knowledge wrong but i was soooo stoned i could'nt figure out where i'd gone wrong.lol.no prob's i needed help when i first started(4 an a bit year's ago)so i got on the net an found this site,an everyone was really helpfull so now i've got a bit of experience it's my turn to help!!(i've made enough mistakes for everyone!!) also i'd advise you to buy a book on the subject an read up on it.i've got a few..indoor marijuana horticuture,the indoor bible by jorge cervantes..marijuana grower's guide by mel franks.hope this helps..love an respect..spliffbuilder.

Awesome... bein the newbie kind of sux but you get alot of great info and its pretty fun researchin some of the stuff. I plan on usin a 400w HPS light system with about closet space and wondering how far the light should be from the plant in germination, veg and flowering. Thanx bro

I would use a flor on the seedling..... at least for a week... you can get one cheap at a hardware store... couple dollars....
Many a young plant have died at the hands of a HPS.... After your seedling is 1-2 weeks old turn that HPS on..
I 'd start withthe hps around 3 feet away... and then move it 1-3 inches closer to the plant every day .....
If you have glass on your reflector you can eventualy move the light to just an inch from your plants... just make sure you have a fan blowing DIRECTLY between your light and your plants....

I would buy at least 100 watts worth of daylight spectrum fluorescents per plant, but that's just me. From what I read in my books, it says, 20 watts per square feet.

awesome thanx for the info... would i just use the fluorescents for the veg rite and switch out to my hps for 12/12 flowering>?
