Varrying yields?
Ok well I tried to do a search, and read as much as I could, but couldn't find this question really posed anywhere.
I understand that yields at harvest vary depending on growing conditions such as light, nutrients, strain, etc. However when reading the guide at http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-gro...cts-guide.html - it states that good growers can yield upwards and over 2 pounds of bud from one plant? Now I assume this means wet? Still, many grow logs and threads from other growers, state they "just got 14 ounces wet from four plants, 3/4 ounces dried". And this was supposedly a successful grow?
I am just looking to maybe get this broke down in some simple terms, of what yields you can really expect from a decent flowering indica strain such as white rhino, or any other similiar strains.

Such differences in yield are largely due to how big you let the plants veg first. I'm going to get about 25g dry off each plant right now that only vegged for 10 days. Had I vegged them for two months and 4 times the size, the yield would be very different.
Noone really talks about wet weight.

I've heard of people getting well over a pound per plant from well-cared-for outdoor grows. :stoned: Still, this isn't something any sane person would shoot for growing indoors.

That's virtually impossible indoors.
A new grower should aim for a zip per untrained plant, or a QP for a big ol' DWC bush.
And if you don't have the lights to do it, just aim for that 0.5g/w/m of HID light in the flower room. That's an ideal. You'll most likely hit .2 your first time.

depends a lot on strain as well and lights, and space. Their are to many factors to calculate. I understand what you are saying though aim big and get as much as you can. Smoke good and make some money you can't beat that!
