advice please!

thanks in advance for any advice. so i've grown in the past and stopped after my g/f and i moved in together. she does not smoke but isn't against my use. so i want to do a small grow but i know she"ll say something like "pick me or the plants" i love her and we've been together a long while. any advice on how i can have both?

Just talk to her about it and ask her. If she doesn't object to your smoking, she might surprise you. If she does object, however, I don't know what to tell you to do.

yeah talk to her , i doubt sumone who really loves you will just go all out and say pick me or the plants..but then again thats xactly what my parents told me

I'm going to guess that the overwhelming opinion here will be "if she wants you to change your habits then fuck her you dont need her anyway"...but honestly man, tell me which one of these would you most agree with:

Love = Pot, or
Love > Pot


personally i'd drop any habit for the girl of my dreams

I think if she truely cares for you, she would be willing to listen. you can always tell her to pick "no plants" or "you" and make it her decission. this might sound bad, but try to make it seem like she is unreasonable for getting upset at some stupid plants or somthing, put her on the spot. manipulative, i know, but it might help.

She doesn't love you. She wants to control you like most women do. Aren't they sweet, kind and loving? Your about to find out how understanding first hand aren't you. Dump her now then she'll bend or start stepping. What do I know? Just another fucking idiot.

the member KDSpecial went through this with his girl and they really worked it out like adults- he has a small grow and also a bunch of veggies, adn the lil' woman grumbles only occasionally, but they are pretty darn happy!

Conversation is a key part of any relationship. If you two cant sit down and have a rational conversation, then I think you got some more problems then her not going to let you grow some plants. If she doesnt want you too grow, try to make a compromise. But, if you do have some real feelings for this girl, dont ruin it over some plants. If she is okay with you toking, you still have that. Just remember to take the good with the bad.

thanks to all , no med state, if it was i'd qualify in an instant. she agrees that if we move to a med state i can grow to my hearts content. unfortunatly it will be 2 years before we are able to move back to say, colorado. so i want to grow for all the same reasons as before but i think shes paranoid about all the negative that can potentialy happen when growing.
