i dont have any idea a type of bulb i guess i know a guy who has a 1000 watt ballast and he said that was the type of bulb it took ?? i just wanted to know how much one cost so could pick one up to make sure the ballast worked befor i bought it

growerssupply.com, a division of farmtek, has the cheapest bulbs ive seen anywhere. less than half the price of hydro stores and even lowes.

I have to agree with Khronik HTG has the best prices I've ever seen all though I've never checked the other site mentioned.

Oh yeah s52 is the ansi number to match bulb to ballst this is just the standardized tech term.
