Giuliani's daughter will not vote for him
Ron Paul has been against abortion for decades saying today, "if you don't have respect for life, you can't have a respect for liberty", and has tried to have Roe vs. Wade overturned.
He's also against the death penalty, so that the unwanted criminal bastards he unleashes on society are likely to get more chances to attack again.
His association with the 9/11 conspiracy theorists is the icing on the cake. I do not think that he even believes these people, but just wants their support.
Article:
August 7, 2007
Speaking at Maxine's Restaurant to 50 people on a steamy afternoon, Paul spoke passionately in criticism of abortion rights and the war in Iraq. Paul, a doctor who delivered more than 4,000 babies prior to serving 10 years in Congress, introduced the Sanctity of Life Act to overturn the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court Roe Vs. Wade case that gave women a right to have an abortion.
On the abortion issue, Paul said, "we as a nation can't bury our heads and pretend we don't see anything." The issue is paramount, he said, since "if you don't have respect for life, you can't have a respect for liberty."

I just think the other major candidates are just full of shit and do what they are told to do.
Ron Paul would legalize it! Ever thing of that?? He is really getting the debate going on Iraq too. The other politicians just say "we must stay the course"....yet not telling us what it is. Ron Paul says plain and simple..."GET OUT!" Vietnam did not become the disaster it was thought of when the South fell. 50,000 soldiers died for that shit. Why?? To "contain" communism? Well, the communists won and it didn't go anywhere.
We'll have to come out the sandbox (no pun intended) sometime!!

I just find it comical. I do not share many of my father's political views, because he is a middle-class republican, one which does not reap any benefits from that party. We also did not have the best relationship when I was a child. I am certain though, that if I ran for president, that I would have my daughter's support. I think there is something wrong with that senario, if your own child is not supporting you, why should anyone else? Who knows you better than your children? That goes deeper than politics, that's family.

I beg to differ on the state of things in Vietnam after our departure. While Vietnam today may be moving forward, our departure left hundreds of thousands to be murdered or sent to re-education camps, a purge of Stalinist proportions. Add the massive waves of refugees leaving any way they can and a sudden pullout from Iraq could be a terrible disaster.
Also, Iraq is not Vietnam, there are far more factions in the fray and not one has the power and political will of the Communists.
Caveat: I want us out of Iraq too, but that will take time to accomplish and will probably require a long-term residual force to continue training/assisting the Iraqi's.
Peace.

Unreal......so he'll just be able to get this through Congress and Senate no probs right? What these people want to do as compared to what their able to do is usually two different things.
