In Alaska, a greenhouse is the way to go. Even a crappy hoop-house made of PVC and plastic sheeting. You can then force-flower earlier by using darkening cloth at night to give 12/12 earlier and beat the frosts.
Or go with an autoflowering strain.
This is a cultivation question... search the 'strains and seeds' section and look for lowryder and matanuska strains.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Summer strains I know this forum isn't very frequented, but I'm going to give this a shot anyway. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good outdoor summer producer up here? I'm thinking next May I want to put a little patch on the side of a mountain and forget about it for a while, so I figured I'd see if anyone had success with any particular strains for the summer, and when they finally started flowering (Mid August I'm guessing?)
