Male to feamle?

Yea my Iguana loves herb.... we burn every night and he jus chills... but yea keep trying to make that male into a female cuz if you make it happen then my little plant, if male, will have a chance to become a female flowerer... good luck...so you use to have an Iguana? Mine be mean sometimes.. any ideas on how to make him nice? just getting him high makes him nice but most the time he be blowing up and stuff...

Let me say again.

You may get a couple calyxes here and there but a male is a male is a male.

This is starting to turn into one of those bad information threads. I'm leaving it up as a curiosity but this is NOT a technique that growers typically use.

Also, we do not tolerate ANY discussion of getting your pets high. All posts about that WILL be nuked and if it persists, expect infractions.

Yeah,I know man,a male is a male is a male.I'm a very experianced grower,and have been growing for 11 years.I got some good grows under my belt.I always kill the males,and I hate males,but like I said I just moved to Florida,and I don't know any where around here,to get decent smoke,to obtain some decent seed from.I can't afford any quality seed right now,either,and I've looked at a lot of good sites,and most don't accept money orders,and I have no credit card.I'm just hoping,that maybe there might just be a chance to turn this plant into a hermie,so I can at least get some seed from it,and a lil better smoke.I'm thankful that you are leaving this thread up,as I believe that if this works,all the people who only grow one plant,and get a male,just might not have to throw it out.My Iguana was mean as hell,and whipped me with it's tail,and he clawed the heck out of me,that's why I got rid of him.You have to hold them,and pay attention to them,a few hours a day,and they will slowly become tame,but that's a different story.Well,my plant is still alive,and bushing out with two tops,very nicely.I'll keep you guys posted on it's progress,if this thread makes it that long,hehehe.PEACE

I have heard of growers claiming they had a male plant turn into a female ... I also have read stories about Bigfoot, and Alien Abductees ... all claimed truthfulness ... (so, now, I'm standing in the woods, late at night, wearing a tinfoil hat, and looking for tracks, but my plant still has balls) ... :jointsmile:

Brand- I think this is a cool thing to experiment with, don't get me wrong, and I like that sort of curiosity- the thread is going to last, I just don't want to see people getting their pets high on it, ya know?

I personally HAVE had males go herm on me and start throwing pistils. It's Nature's way of continuing the species under unusual growing conditions. I never tried to use that male to make seeds, though.

There ARE some rumors surrounding the use of pollen from a hermi male, but I've never seen someone do a seed run that way.

Go nuts, it's pretty cool to experiment.

Thanks stinky,It's just what you said,an experiment.I don't even think it will work,but then who knows.Yeah,I'm not big on getting pets high either, I fed my Iguana old leaf trimmings,but that won't get them high,remember,you have to use heat to release the goodies.I'll keep this experiment going,as long as the plant lives,and as long as this thread does.PEACE

Yea good stuff... my little plant is so young and i cant wait till its bigger to flower...and this experiment is one of the best ones that i'm a part of.. cuz if it wasnt for this experiment then i think i might have thrown my plant away if it was a male so this gives me some kind of hope... good luck...

WOW,I'm glad a made a thread that is helping people out!Yeah man,don't throw out your plant,keep it going,and see if our experiment will work.Hey,by any chance can you post a pic of your plant,Mr Green?I'm curious,to as what yours looks like.Mine is bushing out nicely,and shooting out new growing tips everywhere.he still looks a lil rough though.I'll post some more pics,as soon as he starts looking better.PEACE

even thoug it sounds like a long shoot, im in for a bit of experiments with it, so plaese post any on goin happenings with your male plant...i read the thread and i to (just a novice grower) think that its a fairly cool experiment and as stinky said if we dont try things out we never come acrose new stuff....so go for it:thumbsup:

That's cool,I'll post any progress in my plant,and I believe it just might work.I know it's a long shot,but I'm going to go for it.I brought mine in last night,and put it under some strong light,so hopefully that will mess up it's cycle,and confuse it enough to push out some female parts.I just love female parts,hehehe.PEACE
