    How bad is it?

The Smell. My only problem currently stopping me from an a potentially awesome outdoor grow.

How bad is it? will my neighbors smell it? it might be around 15 plants.

Go guerilla style. Especially in the states. They catch you with one plant prepare to be excecuted.:buzz_saw:

    uhh ok thanks..

now to my questions, how pungent is the smell.

will neighbors smell over a 7 ft wall from 20 feet away?

When the sun hits the plants, if there is a slight downwind towards your neighbours, then prob yes...plus they really smell when you dry them out

I dont understand why anyone would grow onj their own property in the US....especially if you have close neighbours. You get caught (which sounds likely if your 20 feet away) and your screwed. They will take away your property (proceeds of crime) and then feed you to bubba for years. With guerilla your plants are nowhere you would have to worry much about smell and you have plausible deniability if and anonimity if they are found.

i would either grow guerilla or indoors.

if they do fly-overs in helecoptors and they see your lights on an infra red scan, they can't search until they see a plant. and outdoors they always find the plants if they do fly-overs.

so if you're not in a national forest area, you're safe, but your neighbors might smell it and report it. so i would grow indoors.

I have heard of granulated products you can put in your soil to hold down odor, anyone know about these?

And a guerilla grow is not out of the question, I'm just seeing how much easier I can make it on myself and how much gas money I can save :O
