    Yep- one of the reasons I like hydroton based hydro- you can just re-use the media forever.

    Do you have a backyard garden? You can always bury it.

    I wouldn't re-use it w/o sterilization, which can be sort of a PITA.

    I thought you can't bury it? It isn't earth-safe from what I read. I brought it to the dump last time, and while I'm a legal patient, I didn't take too kindly to him telling me next time I should bring documentation of where the SunShine came from (aka utility bills proving where I lived) Needless to say, I'll stay away from that dump.

    How do you like the hydro rocks? I heard they are a bit more fussy.

    Did not think it was supposed to be placed directly back into the earth as is like soil could be no problem.
