Well my hydro guy told me that I wouldn't need CalMag if I used regular tap water so not sure what you want to do there....I know X-C just recently went to RO....was he using CalMag before he switched? I didn't start using it until after I went to RO water.

You can soak your hydroton in water adjusted with baking soda or vinegar to fix ph. That won't be a problem for the soaking.....just rinse them afterwards if you go that route.

Also...if you don't have H202....stick that one on your list. ....
    for future: Reverse and penetrator

yes he was using it before the RO..he said it works well to help prevent deficiencies...I tend to like that..peroxide for keeping the water from going stagnant, correct?

Yes and just to add an extra kick of 02 to the plants. Also good to add to keep or help treat root fungus, algae, etc.... I WAS using it every other day (for the reg w/fs...20ml.....4 tsp...every other day) but I've sort of gotten out of the habit but plan on going back to doing it. I really like what it does for the plants.

It's also good just to keep it on hand in case you have a problem....not something you NEED to do....I like doing it and I like the little grow kick my plants get from it.

I like to have a couple of bottles sitting right up in the room where the plants can see them. Those bottles are Fox Farm Bug Spray, Serenade, and h202. I think having them around helps keep some of the monkeys in the cages.....

    Isn't Cotton Candy a re-named Sweet Tooth?

Yes....I just read that in the Cannabible. It's actually a "knock-off" of Sweet Tooth but the author liked the cotton candy and gave it a thumbs up. No good photos though....I love Marks pics.
