When I'm Sixty-Four
So today my iTunes decided to shuffle over to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. One particular song (see title) got me thinking, where do I want to be when I'm sixty-four?
Do you even want to live that long? Retirement? Sitting on top of a couple pounds of homegrown dank? Sitting on your front porch with your spouse, perhaps a delightful grandchild sitting on your knee?
I would answer, but I really don't have an answer myself. I need some time to meditate on this, but am still curious regarding what you all have to say.couch-potato Reviewed by couch-potato on . Well I hope ill have a nice town house in the suburbs. Id have 2 adult children who had grandkins of their own. Johns land will still be mining for coal and gas and limestone so we'll be set. And then we can travel and shop.

I definitely want to live that long. Sir Paul McCartney is now 65 himself. He managed fine.
I look forward to people still needing and feeding me when I'm 64. And I figure I'll get by with a little help from my friends.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

I'm thinking a mini-farm in New England with a nice garden and a couple horses, a spoiled bulldog, and a nice man to share it all with. Simple.
