When I'm Sixty-Four
So today my iTunes decided to shuffle over to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. One particular song (see title) got me thinking, where do I want to be when I'm sixty-four?
Do you even want to live that long? Retirement? Sitting on top of a couple pounds of homegrown dank? Sitting on your front porch with your spouse, perhaps a delightful grandchild sitting on your knee?
I would answer, but I really don't have an answer myself. I need some time to meditate on this, but am still curious regarding what you all have to say.couch-potato Reviewed by couch-potato on . I definitely want to live that long. Sir Paul McCartney is now 65 himself. He managed fine.
I look forward to people still needing and feeding me when I'm 64. And I figure I'll get by with a little help from my friends.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

When I'm Sixty-Four
This Saturday is my 45th birthday and 64 is only 19 years away. I do not want to be an old person and really hope I do not get plagued with longevity like some of my family members. With any luck, 64 or 65 will be the lucky number for me and I will not have to be old.
Me and my wife were just discussing this very subject the other day after we heard the song on the radio in the Tacoma and she is not cool with my ideas because she is five years older than I am and does not want to spend her old days without me.
The people in her family are plagued with longevity, they live into their 90s. That aint gonna happen to me because I will take matters into my own hands at a certain age no matter what. Better dead than old.

That's nice to hear! I enjoyed making it. I was raised on the Beatles.

Just take care of your health, exercise your body and your mind, and you'll feel great during that time. I hope I live to be 110 and until I have great-great grandchildren.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
