new to the board/smoking

Hi! So Iâ??m new to this whole thing. I first smoked last month, and Iâ??ve only smoked about eight times or so. I have a few questions

- My big problem so far is that even with an ice cold bong, it still burns significantly when I inhale (although I think I might be getting used to it). Is this normal? How can I try and help this?
- I donâ??t think Iâ??ve gotten truly high yet. First few times I just got a mild buzz, which is nice because I was worried about getting too high on my first hits. The last time I smoked was the highest Iâ??ve been, but I got a massive headache and so the experience was kind of ruined. Iâ??m pretty sure itâ??s because I inhale wrong. With a bong, are you supposed to kind of suck in the smoke, clear the chamber, THEN take a deep breath, hold in and exhale? Sometimes I try to inhale rather fast, not sure if that is good or notâ?¦ Or do I just try to take one deep breath? I have trouble with the latterâ?¦ any tips on inhaling would help, as silly as that might sound.

with a bong suck it slowly to draw the smoke up, smoke naturally rises but the denser smoke stays low, if you suck real slow you really build up thick smoke, but you gotta suck hard enough to pull it and burn the weed. once you have a full chamber you can do one of two things.
if you have enough air, open up the shotty hole or remove the bowl and chug it all down
or if you have no air left take you lips off breath out then drag it all down.
the burning is normal cus you have virgin lungs
the first method is better cus you use all your lungs and get higher.

welcome. try smoking cigarettes. that'll condition your throat. just kidding. don't do that. you'll get used to the smoke if you do enough of it however you find to hit it.

to fix your burning problem, smoke more weed. and to get higher, hit it slower, and with a bong, you hit it, clear the chamber, and hold it in. there's not really a breath needed.... unless its a huge bong, then you hit it, hold it in, blow it out, and hten clear the chamber.
