PAR for plants, lumens for people (Familiar to many of us)
Quoted from the good olde OG growfaq:
"While the lumens measurement is based on the sensitivity of the human eye to light, PAR Watts objectively measure the total watts of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) emitted by the lamp. It accounts for the nutritional value and is a direct measure of light energy available for all-important plant photosynthesis."
This FAQ put it into alot of our heads that we need to keep a proper measure on PAR rather than lumens.
My question is, has anybody found any useful information on PAR? I've been looking but have turned up nothing useful. Mainly what I want to know is the potential PAR from artificial lighting. But if anyone has any info on PAR that they would like to share/discuss I would be happy to hear it.

I must have looked past this a million times, but I found a link to the info on the net.
The Cannabis Cultivation GrowFAQ - The Internet Hub for Marijuana Cultivation - Bulb information and specifications
Now if only I knew what amount of PAR is optimum??? And a light meter that reads PAR is too damn expensive for me Multi-Sensor Quantum Light Meter from Spectrum Technologies, Inc.
