My Sprout.
Ok hey,
I was wondering if so far this sprout looks ok. Its hard to see because the camera wouldn't focus on it. This right now is just a project for me to see the difference in different growing conditions. Also it's the first plant I have had. The red stuff on the soil is a organic remedy for keeping fungus gnats away. I started the plant in sunlight on a window sill and was going to move it to be more of an indoor plant when it gets stronger. I was just curious of what kind of effect this would have on the plant itself. I have 2 others started in 2 other pots with 2 diffent kinds of soil. Trying to figure out what would be the best soil for me to grow in. Anyways any tips and so forth is appreciated or if I am doing something wrong let me know. ur seedling looks fine
dig a hole outside
then cut the middle of a coke bottle out, that means cut off the bottom and the top
make sure your hole is only as wide as the coke bottle
dig your hole fill it with ur soil
then stick ur coke bottle in it leaving about 2inches above the ground
plant ur seedling
it will give ur plant a better chance of life

cool thanks. I will definately give that a try. Iam glad that it looks decent. It has really took off at growing just today. Leaves are starting to for and it is about 3 inches tall today. I think it is going to be a tall plant so I will probably give LST a try with it since it is taller. I figure its better than topping it. I know it being in the window sill is causing it to stretch upward to get light so I will probably be moving it soon to a lamp.
Again thanks for your replay.

To EvilCowboy - It's too late in the year to plant outside now, if you live in America. There are so many things you should be doing right now, if you want a healthy plant and some good bud. But it's impossible to re-type page upon page of growing instructions, tips and advice. You should start reading as much as you can about growing. Then when you have specific questions/problems, it's easy to get answers.
Right now you should get a cfl on your plant before it stretches too much and get it on an 18/6 light schedule. Right now the days are getting shorter and the plant won't grow right using natural sun/hours.
Here's a good place to start reading. http://boards.cannabis.com/basic-growing/127522-simple-noob-instructions-growin-da-dankness.html
What is the stuff you used to combat gnats?

But like you said I need to probably keep it out of the sun so it stops stretching huh?
