I don't understand girls..

There's this girl I really like, and we have been friends for a while but last summer i admitted to her that I had a crush on her, but she said that she didn't feel the same way ect.. Last year I moved and during the winter she sent me a text message saying "I wish you were still here, your the only person that ever understood me". Well I am actually back in town (possibly for good) and she's acting like barely a friend. I have seen her maybe 3 times in the two months i've been back, and I think she ignores my calls/texts. Should I bother trying so hard to be her friend? I still really like her, but i'm sick of her texting me asking for drugs, but when she doesn't need anything she RARELY replies. She also gives us no time alone for me to explain things. Anybody have any suggestions what i should do?

well while i'm hesitant to say this about all women....

women want what they can't have... simple as that.... there are soooooooooo many instances of a girl not liking some guy, until he was unavailable to her... then all of a sudden she wants him... (i.e. you chase after her for upwards of a year, nothing... you get with some other chick after giving up, the next week all of a sudden she wants you)

I dont think she likes you that way sorry to say. Its time to find another, to take your mind off her THEN find the one after you've forgotten the first girl. lol its complicated but it works for me.
