Why the sad faces? That was a horrible article. It doesn't suck that he's getting more time, it sucks that other people don't get more time for similar crimes.

Looks like they decided to make an example of him.Nobody on US land gets that kind of time for a rape and murder.Not condoning what he did,it was pretty sick but it happens quite often here in the US and they usually get 15 to 20.

No. What the soldier did was plain cold murder.

You still need to respect human life in war time. You don't go out killing civilians. I'm sorry if you disagree there, but if that is your stance, than I personally believe that you are evil and should be locked up because I would consider you a danger to me.

If you were a WWII bomber doing missions over Germany, would you have any concern about the civilians, or consider them all Nazis and blow the hell out of them anyway?
