It doesnt make any sense

and you're an alcoholic
who, thinks he's a better man?
Im only smokin chronic
keep takin' your ativan

she's the love of my life, i call her mary jane/
laws, family, or women will never take her away/
moral of my story is my weed is here to stay/
she's always been there for me, in times of work and play//
i like watching her green turn to ashes/
see the bowl empty, burnt with matches//
thick weed smoke i like to keep in my lungs/
smoke bud all day, we like to stay high, son//

the beautiful greens, theyve never made me mean
when you drink your beer, it makes you somethin to fear,
gettin all angry, while i sit here in my own little world

Then one day, I was in so much pain, I felt like I had been hit by a train

You have a bad reputation, there's too much propaganda and misinformation
But I know better, every day with you is an adventure.
People will try to tear us apart but I can't leave you, you have a place in my heart
Others are much worse, and take people away in a hearse
Your illegal because of money, even though you never kill any
For you I risk my freedom, but fuck everyone else, we don't need 'em
Maybe, some day, we don't have to be a secret, until then, I'll have to disguise you as a cigarette

I dont know what to say
Fucked up something else, I swear
I always find a way,
to ruin what is beautiful,
a child, full of grace.
Seemingly unusual,
the smile on my face.
Why do they admire me?
Can they see deep within?
Evidence of truth pertruding
from underneath my skin.
