bakersfield was one of the closest places for me too!!!! i just became a member of the prop 215 community a little over two months ago, and i went to bakersfield all the way from the central coast just to finally get to go to a coop and they were closed!!!! one and a half tanks of gas and a wasted day just to end up stopping by in tulare on the way home to get SOMETHING.... as if my day wasnt bad enough i walked in there and they said that when they called my dr.s office to verify my reccomendation.... guess what, they were closed... stupid drs office. well luckily i made the trip with one of my friends who has his reccomendation as well. anyway now i have to go to santa barbara and i still havent been able to make it down there, leaving me with the black market still and who knows the history behind that stuff???? luckily most of our "black market" material comes from nor cal area so we are fairly lucky i suppose.
on another note, does anyone live in slo county? i was just wondering cuz there is supposedly a coop project for templeton and i havent been able to find any more info than a few somewhat reliable people but nothing in writing or from a political figure of any sort. any help or insight on this would be much appreciated cuz driving to templeton is MUCH closer than bakersfield (o wait cant go there anymore you bastards in charge!!!) or santa barbara for that matter..... n e way, happy smoking!!!!!:hippy::rastasmoke:
