Oregon Medical Marijuana Law in Danger!!!

initiative 104 is also known as the Crime Fighting Act of 2004. It is sponsored by Kevin Mannix a Republican who has run for govenor twice. This is a very long bill. It deals with meth, child predators, and basically tries to be "tough on crime." It tries to sneak past the fact that it will repeal medical mj by making the bill incredibiley long.

Anyone who lives in Oregon needs to fight this bill. The movement has experienced several setbacks recently and this would be horrible. People who live in Oregon need to get in touch with Oregon NORML, write LTE's, and get people to register to vote so this bill can be defeated. I think the key to this bill is to make about medical mj. I don't think the Oregon voters will vote for it if they know it makes medical mj against the law. If anyone from Oregon could give a report from ground zero that would be great.

Politicians want votes, drunkards want wine, I don't want any of that; but I will take another toke. Just spread the word around and when it is known by most people that this bill is trying to rob hard working Americans of what they voted for then . I believe it won't stand a chance.
