I can't really provide an answer for the poll. It doesn't specifically indicate age limits and that's a big issue. I think if it's a mutual thing between someone who's say, 17 or older, it's not a big deal. With a 16 year old that's just kinda wrong, they probably don't have the emotional maturity or experience with sex. Even so, relations with someone that who's a grown adult is not a healthy way to form sexual experiences, it should be with someone in their age group.

Sex with a student 15 or under, well that's just bordering on pedophilia IMO, 15 year olds should have sex with other teenagers, not 34yo horny men who get a hankerin' for their students.

lol, this very issue also gave me one more reason to hate Nancy Grace. She was just going on and on about this "child molester", a 28 year old female teacher who had sex with her 17 year old male student. She's acting like this boy was a victim of some horrible atrocity, give me a break! He had something to brag to his friends about and an extremely memorable sexual experience. just because he's technically not 18 the stupid bitch was blowing a casket like this boy's life was destroyed.

that reminds me of a question me and my friends (at about 13 or so) always had but could never really answer....

Even when teacher and student are of legal age, I think it matters. That's an abuse of the teacher-student relationship and it's one of those situations where, even if the students are past childhood or adolescence, the teacher stilll has an unfair advantage and more significant leverage, particularly if the student is receiving grades from that teacher. Teachers of all ages need to go have sex with other populations than students.

I totaly agree unless you have a teacher that is teaching sexual favors and the opration of mind minuplation their is no reason for teachers having sex with thir student on any level collee high school, you dont teach anything on subject while having sex with your students, I was in high school and I wanted some of my teachers and got close to one but still just cuse I persued it and got close does not make it right. education is serious and false education is the resone this whole drug war is happening right now

What about male teacher male student and female teacher female student? I think all are okay as long as the teacher isnt currently teaching the student because they will most likely get special treatment.

teachers are supposed to be roll models and are supposed to set the example for the students. It doesn't matter what grade, or school. inappropriate relationships between teachers and students is just wrong.

Well even if both of them are adults (over 16) I think it would be ok as long as they dont go to the same school like birdgirl said that would be an abuse of the teacher-student thing and even though you might not be breaking the law the teacher would still lose his/her job because of it, Its just exactly the same as the doctor-patient thing really its just something you dont do.
