What color was it? Brown? We have dirt-dauber nests (wasp nests) that look perfectly cylindrical and are about the size of a golf ball here. There's one hanging from one of the plant hooks on our front porch at the moment. When I'm feeling brave, I'm going to go out there with a broom and knock it down, then spray the garden hose to wash off the traces of mud.
birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . ok someone's bound to know what this was.... didn't take pics but you probably wouldn't have been able to see it anyway.... the wife could barely see it... took her nearly a full minute to spot it evenw ith me pointing right at it... it looked like a spider's egg sack.... plastered to the cieling.... but it was the size of a golf ball... it also contained no baby spiders or bug carcasses.... it was perfectly cylindrical.. any ideas?
