My Hookah Experience.

So last night my friend calls me and tells me he has a new bong so to come over and hit it. So, I hit the bong, and it's a nice glass bong, but that's not what interests me. What interest me is their hookah. They smoke "shisha" out of it, which is tobacco and other sticky stuff that makes it taste good. They also smoke their shitty weed in it, since they said it's better to just use a bong. Well, I've never smoked out of a real hookah, so they say if I want to smoke out of it they will tell me how.

So, I grind up a few grams of weed, but first they have me pick out a shisha flavor (I picked lime) and instructed me to put a small amount on the "bowl". Then, I dump a few grams of ground up weed on. Then, they tell me to put more shisha on. After this, my friends fiance takes a bottle of water and pours some water on top. I'm like "wtf" because I don't want my weed to get wet but they explain to me, it has to for it to work or whatever.

Then, they put alluminum foil over the bowl, and have me light a hookah charcoal. Once I do that, I put it on top, and they tell me to wait a few minutes before smoking. So after a few minutes, it's "ready" and I smoke it. They tell me it lasts a long time. Well, I taste the shisha, and then finally I taste some weed, but after a while I just taste shisha, which is strange since I only put a little shisha but a lot of weed. They tell me it vaporizes it and doesn't smoke it. I'm high, but I'd rather be directly taking hits, so I take it off, and it's time to go, so I take the weed left which looks like it hasn't even been smoked, and put it in a film container for later smoking and leave.

All in all it was a waste of my time. Bongs are much better for smoking weed. It was a waste of weed.

Dude I have a really nice 3 hose hookah. We smoke shisha and weed mixed all the time and it usually gets us blazed. The whole pouring water on it thing is bullshit though.

That's what I thought. They said it was to "re-moisturize" the shisha. It was sticky as it was, and in my opinion didn't need to be moisturized. It was just a one hose hookah. Don't get me wrong, it got me high, but for some reason, the weed wasn't ash at all. It was just weed, after a half hour of thinking I was smoking it. And it took a long time to "smoke", so I found it to be a waste of time and weed, when I could have just rolled a joint or smoked a bong.

dude, you still had about an hour of smoking left on that bowl. the vaporizing stuff is bullshit though, it simply burns with the shisha, you just hadnt burnt it all yet. a hookah is more for a relaxing 1-2 hour smoking session with friends as opposed to "lighting a joint" and getting blazed. you dont seem to have the patience to fully enjoy it, so I woudnt recomend it again, but if you want you can just pack the bowl with weed, and the shisha resin will give it a unique flavor as you smoke the weed. It is basicly a type of bong, so it can be used however, but Hookah+ (aka shisha and weed together) is great for a nice long session, and it really makes the small amount of weed last a long time

I love the taste of shisha, don't get me wrong I love the taste of weed too but the shisha is so auromatic, and savory.

I enjoyed smoking the actual shisha, before I put weed into it, it was relaxing kicked cigarettes ass. However, when I smoke weed, I want to experience the flavor and taste of weed, and get high. Not have it slow-roast, lol.

I have a pretty nice three-hose hookah and i use it mostly for shisha and just smoke bowls of bud along with it during, before, and most likely after the session... I'll grind some nug up every once in a while and throw it in a bowl with shisha and sometimes it will get you high and sometimes it doesn't seem to be very effective.. this past december when i was visiting austin to see all my friends there me and about five of my best friends there ground up nine grams of ridankulous buds in my coffee grinder and filled my whole hookah bowl with it ground into a fine powder. Once we lit it once after a few hits the whole entire bowl was burning so it ripped harder than anything i've ever hit. It was rough on the lungs but it is safe to say that a single bowl lasting about twenty minutes of straight gigantic hits bigger than you get out of a bong got us lifted. It was an epic experience. All in all I prefer to smoke shisha out of my hookah.. but on the occasion its nice to throw some buds in there.
